| Herm was my grandfather on my father's side. After his death my grandmother let me go into his shop and chose things I would like to have. I chose a few hand tools including a marking gauge, a sliding t-bevel and an old Stanley moulding plane. I use the t-bevel and the marking gauge almost daily. I never knew my grandfather as a woodworker. I don't remember seeing a piece of furniture he made, but I feel a legacy in his tools which I treasure. 14" wide, 17 1/2" deep, 30" tall. |
